Bathrooms

Only a few steps from the campsite is a fully equipped shower block with separate facilities for men and women. Both parts contain a walk in shower with plenty of space to change, a separate flushing toilet and a sink area. The water comes straight from our own borehole and is heated by solar panels.

Outdoor kitchen

There is an outdoor covered kitchen area that is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a simple meal. It has a gas stove, sink, African fridge and plenty of pots, cutlery and dishes. Seasonal organic vegetables, eggs and goats cheese from the farm are for sale on request. We will be adding to the facilities by building a wood fired bread/pizza oven and rocket stove this summer. We are vegetarian and request that our guests refrain from eating meat and fish whilst they stay with us.

Communal areas

Next to the kitchen is the old threshing floor, which has been recovered and shaded with a big parachute. You can use this space for sun bathing, eating or any other activities. Adjacent is a restored old schist cottage that serves as our therapy room, but can be used most times as a common room. It has electricity; a kettle, lights, a comfortable sofa and a wood burning stove which quickly warms up on cooler nights for a relaxing evening. There are hammocks for use in shaded old cork trees and lots of interesting corners of the property with beautiful views.
