Things to do

Fonte de Baixo is a perfect starting place for many walking excursions. It takes 10 minutes to walk down a track through the woods to the lake. The water is crystal clear and perfect for a cool down dip. A longer but very beautiful walk takes you down to the river and the old Roman bridge. There are various other river beaches within a short driving distance.

Bikes, kayaks and bicycle boats are available for hire in the village.
