Volunteers General Information
We would like to provide the opportunity for people to come and help us in our project and in return gain hands-on experience in organic gardening, animal care, building with natural materials or other crafts such as making herbal products.
Please tell us about your interests and skills as there are often projects we don't yet know are out there.
We like to work 5 - 6 hours a day and would expect you to do the same.We will provide shelter, organic vegetarian food, hot showers and washing facilities and pick up from the train station.
Before you come to Ahimsa we would like you to agree that:
Each person takes full responsibility for him/herself including all behaviour to others in the community
There is no physical violence at all, at any time.
No illegal drugs are allowed on the property.
We can not be made liable for losses, illnesses, damages or injuries that may occur during your stay.
All visitors must carry a European health insurance card and in the event of illness or injury, make the necessary arrangements for their own treatment.
Visitors agree to abide by the Centre Guidelines (on noise, respectful behaviour, quiet periods, bathroom rules. These guidelines are displayed at the centre.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the Centre.
